Thomas Carrington is a minor character in The CW's Dynasty. He is portrayed by Bill Smitrovich.
Thomas is the father of Blake, Dominique, and Ben and the former CEO of Carrington Atlantic.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Thomas Carrington was the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Carrington Atlantic, before it was handed to his son, Blake. Their relationship was rocky and unloving.
According to "A Real Instinct for the Jugular", Tom married his wife, Ellen (Later renamed Evelyn in Season 5), at the Swan House.
Season 1[]
In "Rotten Things", Thomas was revealed to have been absent from Blake and Cristal's wedding. He came to spend Christmas with his family and met Cristal, Iris Machado, and Sam Jones. He expressed a lot of racism and homophobia toward Cristal and Sam. After a brief yet rocky visit, Tom left the house without a goodbye to his son or his grand-children.
In "Our Turn Now", Thomas reappeared at Fallon and Jeff's wedding, this time invited by Cristal, to help the family destroy Jeff's spyware. Shortly after the wedding, Thomas had a heart attack in Blake's study and died.
In "Poor Little Rich Girl", at his father's home, Blake found a videotape which claimed Thomas loved Blake. Now at peace with his father's death, Blake made a touching speech at the funeral.
