The Sahara Club at La Mirage, commonly referred to as The Sahara Club, is a nightlife entertainment club owned and operated by Sam Jones and Michael Culhane, serving as an extension of La Mirage.
History[]
Season 4[]
With Sam Jones looking to expand La Mirage, Michael reveals that Jeff and Monica are looking to unload Club Colby, so the two purchase the establishment to renovate as an expansion of the hotel. ("I Hate to Spoil Your Memories")
Sam and Michael hire Leo Abbott and his construction crew for the club renovations, but the crooked contractor intimidates and threatens their lives, so the two stage an electrocution to put Leo out of business. This costs Leo his life. ("A Public Forum for Her Lies", "She Lives in a Showplace Penthouse")
The grand opening of the club, now renamed The Sahara Club, kicks off with Blake's political campaign gala that gets cut short by Fallon getting shot by her deranged assistant, Eva. ("Filled With Manipulations and Deceptions")
Season 5[]
Sam recovers footage from the night of the club's grand re-opening where, prior to Fallon getting shot, Roberto Flores is found to be armed with the intent to assassinate either Blake or Cristal. ("Let's Start Over Again")
To get their mind off Fallon being in a coma, Sam and Michael go overboard with decorating The Sahara Club for Christmas. ("That Holiday Spirit")
Michael is disheartened when Sam cancels the jazz night he planned for The Sahara Club in order to throw a party to impress the young influencer that he's dating. ("A Little Fun Wouldn't Hurt")
With Michael signed on as a producer for the project, The Sahara Club becomes a featured set in the film adaptation of Liam's novel, The Biggest Payday. The set is notably used for the film's version of Fallon and Liam's divorce party, which originally took place in Club Colby. ("Devoting All Of Her Energy to Hate")
Sam, with the help of Michael and Kirby, uses The Sahara Club to host an LGBT Pride party. ("Ben")
