The Biggest Payday is the first novel penned by Liam Ridley in the Dynasty universe. The book was written about Liam's relationship with his current fiancé, Fallon Carrington, over the course of the first two seasons. It was released under Fallon's former publishing house in the episode, "This Illness of Mine."
In the fifth season, Liam signed a deal for a film adaptation, directed by Nina Fournier.

Trivia[]
- The Biggest Payday was written after Liam Ridley decided to scrap the manuscript about his family, entitled Life with the Van Kirks. ("Use or Be Used", "How Two-Faced Can You Get?")
- Following the success of the novel and its film adaptation, Liam wrote a children's book series, entitled Lauren's School for Ghouls.
- In the film adaptation of The Biggest Payday, the audition scene for the role of Farrah is based on Fallon's phone call to Liam where she chooses to be with Michael. ("That Witch", "A Real Actress Could Do It")
- The original actress set to play Ainslie backed out of the role for "personal reasons." This could be a nod to the respective departures of Nicollette Sheridan (Alexis Carrington) and Ana Brenda Contreras (Cristal Jennings), who initially cited "personal reasons" as the reason when exiting Dynasty. ("Mind Your Own Business")
- According to Nina Fournier, Michael kept pushing for the hottest actor to land the role of Cutler. ("I'll Settle For a Prayer")
