The Butler Did It
Is this Fallon? I'm sorry. I didn't know what to do. {...} That guy, he was blindfolded and handcuffed, and he wanted me to gag him. He started freaking out, so, I took out the gag. He was turning red. He couldn't breathe. He said he was having a heart attack. {...} No. It was all so fast, and then it was too late. He's... dead.
— The hired escort calling Fallon about Max Van Kirk's death

Ship of Vipers is the second episode of the second season and the twenty-fourth episode overall of the drama television series, Dynasty on The CW. It aired on October 19, 2018.

BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY — While Blake focuses on his own selfish endeavors, Fallon goes to desperate measures to sell Carrington Atlantic to the Van Kirks. Sam and Alexis are determined to validate their suspicions about Melissa. Meanwhile, Anders' daughter Kirby befriends the Colbys in order to seek revenge on Fallon to make her pay for the past.

Fallon and Liam are in New York to close the deal with Max, who makes a pass at Fallon. Sam and Alexis suspect that Melissa is not really pregnant, but they are proven wrong. Monica reluctantly hires Kirby to help her open Club Colby. When a rival venue schedules a concert to sabotage Club Colby, Kirby sneaks in and releases some rats to shut them down. Fallon tussles with Kirby, who vows to take everything from Fallon. Cristal Jennings arrives at the mansion and shows Blake a photo of her with his deceased wife Cristal Flores. Fallon has Kirby arrested for assault. With the deal contingent on Fallon sleeping with Max, she hires an escort to impersonate her, but Max dies of a heart attack during the encounter.[2]
