Adam Carrington fires Bobby from Atlanta General Hospital in order to obtain and profit off of his anti-aging research. Bobby blackmails Adam for a cut of the profits from Adam's new skincare line, but an altercation leads to Bobby falling to his death from the balcony of Alexis Colby's penthouse.

- The storyline surrounding Bobby's death and the incarceration of Alexis Colby is inspired by a similar arc in the 1980s Dynasty in which Alexis is framed for the murder of Mark Jennings, who also fell from the balcony of Alexis' penthouse.
