Robert Christopher Riley is a main actor on The CW's Dynasty, portraying the role of Michael Culhane.
Biography[]
In The CW’s new drama “Dynasty,” Robert Christopher Riley plays Michael Culhane, the loyal family chauffeur, who happens to be Fallon Carrington’s lover and confidante.
Riley attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA., where he earned his B.A. in Theatre. While attending Lehigh, Riley was cast in the role of Walter Lee in the play “A Raisin in the Sun” and later went on to co-write, along with Kashi Johnson, “Untold Truths: Why We Always Sit Together.”
While completing his degree, Riley was cast in several independent films as well as numerous commercials and print ads. In 2006, he landed a role in August Wilson’s “Fences,” and was later cast in a second August Wilson production, “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” at Baltimore Center Stage. In 2008, Riley was cast as the understudy for the role of Brick in the Broadway production of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” in addition to his nightly role as Brightie.
Riley was a series regular on the series “Hit the Floor,” appeared in “Underground” and most recently had a recurring role on “Elementary.” Riley also appeared in the television movie “Bad Dad Rehab,” with Malik Yoba, Wesley Jonathan, Rick Gonzalez and Robert Ri’chard. Riley’s other television credits include “Single Ladies” and Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Nurse Jackie,” “Royal Pains,” “Damages” and “White Collar.”
Riley’s film credits include “The Bourne Legacy,” “Sinister” “The Adventures of Sweet Yellow,” “Destined,” and “The Perfect Match” with Terrence J, Paula Patton, Dasha Polanco and Donald Faison.
Riley recently directed his first music video for eOne’s recording artist Demetria McKinney and he also produced a docu-series with his own production company, Hollywood Massive, showing his travels to different islands and cities featuring culture, carnivals, and major festivals, with the aim of raising cultural awareness throughout the globe.
