My Family, My Blood is the sixteenth episode of the fifth season, and the one hundredth and second episode overall of the drama television series, Dynasty on The CW. It aired on July 1, 2022.
Synopsis[]
THE CARRINGTON WAY - Fallon and Blake come up with a plan to beat Ben, and Cristal strongly advises against it. Dominique works hard to keep herself out of the family drama, no matter how much Ben tries to drag her in. Meanwhile, Adam continues to push Alexis to let him on her FSN show to promote his newest medical find. Sam tries to set up Culhane, and he wants no part of it. Alexis seems to have a major change of heart.
Plot Summary[]
The Carrington women clash on how to obtain attorney files that can be used against Blake in the upcoming estate case (Fallon leans towards theft, Cristal to bargaining). Adam steps in for an ailing Alexis at her shopping network broadcast, but she mistakenly suspects he poisoned her to do so. Liam experiences writer's block. Ben dupes Dominique to leak a fake legal strategy that misleads Blake. Culhane dives into an affair with Geneva Abbott, widow of the racketeer he and Sam electrocuted. Fallon sees underhanded methods won't leave a positive legacy, so she chooses Cristal as a mentor and her unborn child's godmother. Alexis steals Kirby's incriminating dossier on the family and gives it to Ben.[1]

Quotes[]
Cristal: If we get caught tampering with evidence, it'll only make things much worse.
Fallon: So then we won't get caught. What else are we gonna do, cross our fingers and hope that the lawyers have the case tossed out? No. That's not gonna work.
Cristal: What exactly do you suggest we do?
Fallon and Blake: Destroy the records.
Ronnie: So I didn't know you knew Geneva Abbott. I saw you two at dinner last night.
Michael: How do you know her?
Ronnie: I thought the same way you did.
Michael (chuckles): What does that mean?
Ronnie: Through her husband.
Sam: Hold on. Did you say Abbott?
Ronnie: Yeah. I thought her husband was the guy who was working on the club last year.
Sam: Uh, you mean Leo? Leo Abbott?
Ronnie: Yeah, that was his name. Leo. He was the one who died. The contractor, right?
Michael: Mm-hmm.
Sam: Yes. That's him.
Sam: What if she knows everything? Oh, my God, what if this is about vengeance, and she totally seduced you so that she could kill you?!
Michael: If that were true, I'd already be dead. And besides, I don't think she could fake the connection we had.
Sam: Oh, connection? Like something really electric? Did you feel sparks?
Adam: I can't believe you're actually gonna apologize to Kirby.
Alexis: Well, I don't really mean it, but if this faux-pology helps me get back on track with Amanda, then I am happy to pretend.
Adam: Wow, that's almost mature of you.
Fallon: You were right. I was acting like I knew better than you, but I was only trying to do what I thought was best for my child. And I didn't realize that you were just trying to do the same thing.
Cristal: We might have different approaches, but we're family. Even if we aren't related by blood. I'm a Carrington, and I will always protect the Carringtons. Even the ones not here yet.
Fallon: I like that we have different approaches. And now that I see how much you care, would you consider doing one more thing for my family?
Cristal: Of course. What is it?
Fallon: Liam and I would be honored if you would be our baby's godmother.
Cristal: The baby's madrina? Of course. The honor would be all mine.
Ben: What, you think Blake is any better?
Dominique: Blake might be a bastard, but he's honest with me about who he is. You pretended to want to have a relationship with me to get back at him.
Ben: I do want a relationship with you, and I want to get back at him. Look, Dom, I saw an opportunity and I took it. It doesn't mean we can't get to know each other as siblings.
Dominique: That's exactly what it means. I just came here tonight to tell you I never want to talk to you again.
Alexis: Thank you, Anders, for your dirty, dirty little book of secrets.
