More Than Me is a song performed by Fallon Carrington on her wedding day to Liam Ridley. She wrote the song for Liam about their love story, performing it in place of her vows. The song took place at a piano on the stage of her high school auditorium. Liam, Sam Jones, Michael Culhane, and Ryan bore witness to the ballad.[1]

Lyrics

Unplugged

Courthouse in the rain
Where we began
You had the chance to walk away
But you followed me in
I threw you into the fire and you said it was fine

Should have moved on but you stayed. I told you to run.
I was fine and alone
But now I found my home it's you, and me
And finally I'm out of my own way and you're mine
Now I believe without a beat

'Cause more than before
I love you more, more than before
I love you more, more than before
I love you, more... than me.

Courthouse in the rain
Where we began
You had the chance to walk away
But you followed me in
I threw you into the fire and you said it was fine

Should have moved on but you stayed
I told you to run
I was fine and alone
But now I found my home it's you, and me
And finally I'm out of my own way and you're mine
Now I believe without a beat

'Cause more than before
I love you more, more than me

Never really cared what people said
The only time I turned around was when you walked away
Imagine if somebody told you the day that we met
That I would be the one of the things you'd never forget

I was fine and alone
But now I found my home it's you, and me
And finally I'm out of my own way and you're mine
Now I believe without a beat

'Cause more than before
I love you more, more than before
I love you more, [so much more] more than before
I love you, more... than me

Trivia

  • The song was written by actress Liz Gillies and her husband specifically for Liam and Fallon's wedding day.
  • The performance was initially supposed to happen with a large choir and band behind Fallon, as the song was written as an upbeat performance. However, production was forced to down scale the event for safety protocols, so the song was re-mastered as a ballad.
  • Both the unplugged and original version of the song are available to stream now on Apple Music. A duel studio version of the song was made available by Lakeshore Records.
