"More Power to Her" is the twenty-first episode of the fifth season, and the one hundredth and seventh episode overall of The CW's Dynasty. It aired on September 9, 2022.

Synopsis[]

IS ALL AS IT SEEMS? - Tension remains between Blake and Cristal as they disagree on business matters and Blake calls in a favor to solve the problem. Alexis prepares for Fallon and Liam's baby shower and of course goes over the top! Dominique realizes something of great importance to Jeff is missing, which causes Jeff to question his recent decisions. Sam finds out some compromising information about the hotel and confides in Culhane and the two come up with a plan to make the problem go away. Adam makes matters worse for his family situation. With Kirby and Amanda still on shaky ground, Kirby goes to extreme measures to hopefully appease Amanda, and may have found a new majordomo for the Manor in the process.^[1]

Plot Summary[]

SPOILERS AHEAD

As Fallon and Liam prepare for their baby shower, Fallon opens her first hydroelectric plant and discovers the head of her board, Ellen, seeks to make a coup for her company. Meanwhile, Liam's plagiarism results in being blackmailed by Jasper. Certain relationships hit strides; Dominique admits feelings for her bodyguard; Culhane proposes to Nina, who accepts. Meanwhile, Sam and Ryan break up when Sam is unable to commit; Stacey discovers Adam put her pregnancy at risk; and Jeff learns that Gemma orchestrated the robbery at Dom's loft. At the shower, Stacey accidentally reveals that the baby will be a girl. Additionally, Blake deals with a crisis that involves a missing PPA aircraft which Dex was on; Kirby and Amanda's discussion about the future is interrupted by the arrival of Amanda's ex, Florence; and the new majordomo, Graham, kidnaps Adam to make him pay for all those he hurt.^[2]

Blake: Yeah. Even though we don't always act like it., we're... we're family, and that matters, too. The possibility of losing PPA made me a little...
Jeff: Irrational? Yeah, look, I get it. I went to a really dark place when I lost ColbyCo.
Blake: Oh, maybe we're not all that different.
Jeff: Oh, yeah, we are. And one apology does not equal a clean slate. That said, we all got to start somewhere. Maybe, uh, this could be that somewhere for us.

Liam: Well, let's hope our kid never needs a knife.
Alexis: Huh?
Liam: Alanis? No one?

Sam: Feels a little weird wiping my mouth with a picture of baby Liam.
Cristal: It is a little weird.
Sam: Yeah, Alexis wanted to do the same kind of napkins for me and Steven at our shower, but he wouldn't let her. Feels like a lifetime ago.

Stacey: Whoa. I think we should let the baby do the rest of the talking.
Fallon: Aw.
Stacey: Yeah. Oh, my, it feels like she is wearing six-inch stilettos in there. (laughs)
Liam: Did you just say "she"?
Stacey: Did I? Um...
Fallon: Are we having a girl?
Stacey: Yes. (chuckles) Yes. (to the crowd) They're having a girl.

Fallon: We're having a daughter.
Liam: This is crazy. I mean, I-I know I said it felt real before, but now it feels, like, really real.
Fallon: I know, I know it does. We're having a little girl. A real human being who's gonna need our help navigating this complicated world. It definitely changes the perspective.

Michael (via projector footage): Tonight's feature presentation is our film, our story. It has yet to be written, produced, or directed. So, even though I don't know what scene comes next, I know with absolute certainty that I want to watch it unfold with you. Take it away, Culhane.
Nina: (chuckles) What in the world is going on in... here?
Michael: Nina, I love you, and I have never been more sure of anything in my life. Will you marry me?

Stacey: I know it was the tea, Adam. I do not know what is wrong with you, but I don't want anything to do with you.

Cristal: I was really rooting for you, but this was too far. Your time is up.
Adam: All right, let me just...

Sam: So, I, uh, put a lot of thought into what you asked, and about what I want...

Sam: And... then I realized it shouldn't take this much thought. You know, I-I want to say yes, but there's still something holding me back. You deserve someone who won't hesitate to go all in. You're just too special for anything less.
Ryan: Wow.
Sam: I'm so sorry, Ryan.
Ryan: I mean, Sam, I'm... obviously, I'm-I'm disappointed, but, yh, I appreciate the honesty. I think we both deserve that all-in person.

Cristal: What is it? Did they find anyone?
Blake: No. But we finally got the confidential manifest for the flight. The financier, the third passenger? It was Farnsworth Dexter. Dex was on that plane.

Kirby (to Amanda): Mm. I may not like Alexis... (exhales) ...but she definitely knows how to pick a cake.

Amanda: I've just had certain things that have always been in my mind. Like, I know I don't want to work at the hospital forever or... even live in this house for the rest of my life. Although please don't tell Blake that.
Kirby: (chuckles softly)
Amanda: Being with you has complicated some of those things. In a good way.
Kirby: Well... you know me. Always here to complicate.

Jasper: I assume this means you've made a decision?
Liam: I am ready for this to be over.
Jasper: I'll be a distant memory as soon as you sign the papers to the new condo and hand over my payment. Remember, it starts with a five, followed by six zeroes.
Liam: You're a real piece of work.
Jasper: I think we both know I'm not the bad guy here.

Fallon: I'd like to announce that I have officially finalized the sale of Morell Green Energy by... purchasing the company myself. Privately owning Morell allows me to take responsibility for the world my daughter will be born into. And now I will be able to fast-track all of Morell's future energy initiatives. I am done waiting to make a difference. Change starts now. Thank you all very much for coming.

Fallon: Ellen, what is your game here?
