Michael Anthony Beach (born October 30, 1963) is an American actor and producer. He is best known for his starring role as Doc Parker in the NBC drama series Third Watch (1999-2005).
Career
Michael Beach unsucessfully auditioned for the role of Dr. Peter Benton in the medical drama ER created by John Wells, and finally played the recurring role of Al Boulet, which was known to be one of the first HIV recurring character in Television history. After a three-year stint on ER, he continued his work with John Wells in his other show Third Watch, playing the lead role of Doc Parker.
He has appeared in films Lean on Me (1989), One False Move (1992), Short Cuts (1993), Waiting to Exhale (1995), A Family Thing (1996), and Soul Food (1997).
He guest-starred and recurred in a lot of TV series : Law and Order, Secrets and Lies, Black List, The 100, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Without a Trace, The Client List, Blacklist, Sons of Anarchy and the Dynasty reboot.
Personal Life
He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Elisha Wilson. He has four children from a previous marriage.
