At the age of five, Brown began acting, landing her first role in the 2004 television movie, Go Big, starring Justine Clarke. Despite not acting again for another ten years, Brown said to Wonderland Magazine in 2015, "Acting as a child helped me deal with rejection from a very young age. [...] It made the first few years as a model easier."[1] Brown started modeling at age 12, and at age 16 she left high school to pursue a modeling career abroad in New York City.
Career[]
Soon after moving to New York, Brown was cast opposite Nicole Kidman in the 2015 drama suspense film, Strangerland. She played Lily Parker, daughter of Kidman's role. The following year, she returned to Australia to recur in the television sci-fi drama program, The Kettering Incident. Brown portrayed the young version of Elizabeth Debicki's leading role, Anna Macy.
Brown modeled for brands including, Calvin Klein, Miu Miu, Jason Wu, and Jasper Conran, and she is an ambassador for Pantene and Longines.
In 2018, Brown was cast as Kirby Anders in The CW's Dynasty, a reboot of the 1980s primetime soap opera of the same name. She was hired on ahead of the second season and continued to appear as a series regular through its fifth and final season.
On January 11, 2013, Brown and her sister, Allyson Popovic, founded Outside Beauty & Skincare, an Australian skincare company that specializes in eco-friendly, cruelty free SPF products.
Personal Life[]

In June 2019, Brown was on the Zach Sang Show where she played Fuck, Marry, Kill. She stated that she would never marry a Hemsworth brother because she felt they are too handsome and she felt too insecure. Despite this, in October 2019, Brown was spotted holding hands with Liam Hemsworth in New York.
When speaking to Harpers Bazaar Australia in 2020 about how women are perceived in Hollywood, Brown stated, "Women still definitely have to be ten times nicer and work ten times harder to be given the same opportunities as men in Hollywood. And you often hear about women being labelled as divas or difficult to work with, but you hear that far less about the men. That's because we, as a society, are more ready to label women as difficult."
In April 2024, Brown spoke up about having experienced an hostile work environment created by one of her male co-stars, who allegedly was inappropriate to her during sex scenes and scared her and was later on arrested for domestic battery.[2]
