Leather and Lace is a song performed by Fallon Carrington and Donna during the grand opening for the Carrington clinic. It was originally performed as a duet by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley in 1981.
The musical number takes place on a stage at a venue by Fallon after Donna's musical partner fell ill after eating too shrimp.[1]
Lyrics[]
Fallon:
Isn't life so fragile
And the heart so hollow
Shatter with words
Impossible to follow
Donna:
You're saying I'm fragile I try not to be
I search only for something I can't see
Fallon:
I have my own life and I am stronger
Than you know
Both (2x):
Lovers forever face to face
My city your mountains
Stay with me stay
I need you to love me
I need you today
Fallon:
I need you to love me
Both:
I need you today
Give to me your leather
Take from me my lace
Donna:
Take from me, my lace.
Fallon:
Take from me
Both:
My lace.
