John Lowden is a minor character in the television series Dynasty on The CW. He is the father of Liam Ridley, Connor, and the husband of Laura Lowden until his death.
Biography[]
John Lowden was born into a wealthy family of high social status. He married an equally powerful millionaire, Laura Van Kirk. They had two children together, a daughter and a son named Liam Ridley.
Eighteen-years later, John had a secret affair with Liam's high school girlfriend, Heidi, which resulted in her pregnancy. Laura and John thought it would be best if Liam thought he was the father - to protect everyone involved. She convinced everyone that Heidi should have the child but give him up for adoption. However, unbeknownst to everyone, Heidi kept the baby and named him Connor. ("Is The Next Surgery on The House?")
John died shortly afterward, causing Laura to have a mental breakdown. ("The Butler Did It")
Personality[]
John was described as a strong man who was a doting father to Liam, despite his several flaws. He was a savvy businessman riddled with secrets and lies.
