Hot Tea Atlanta is a local news channel and tabloid site known for publicizing the Atlanta elite. Jeff Colby purchases the company to assist Dominique Deveraux in getting the word out about her new fashion line, Dom-Mystique.

Upon the discovery of two bodies in the lake of Carrington Manor, Hot Tea Atlanta provides news coverage of the investigation. This is to the dismay of Dominique Deveraux, whose paid-interview with reporter, Doug, doesn't air due to being bumped in favor of Carrington press-coverage. ("Guilt Trip to Alaska")

After Dominique makes a scene at Blake's trial, Hot Tea Atlanta decides to do a "making of a murderer's sister" profile, following her with cameras for the remainder of the trial. ("The Sensational Blake Carrington Trial", "The Caviar, I Trust, Is Not Burned")

Dominique walks the red-carpet to show off her designs, and reporters for Hot Tea Atlanta express admiration for Dominique's look. She explains it was inspired by her mother's design and promotes it as part of her new clothing line for Dom-Mystique. Sales boom following the event, and Jeff confesses to buying Hot Tea Atlanta in order to get Dominique the spotlight her designs deserve. ("But I Don't Need Therapy")

Hot Tea Atlanta covers Cristal Carrington's big fundraiser for her veteran's clinic, and it lists Dom-Mystique as one of the city's hottest companies. With sales for Dom-Mystique turning lukewarm, Cristal agrees to take pictures in a dress designed by Dominique and to send them in for Hot Tea Atlanta to share. ("She Lives in a Showplace Penthouse")
