"Private as a Circus"[]
Summary[]
When Blake and Cristal take their honeymoon at the Carringtons' hunting cabin, Blake recommends stargazing at a waterfall two miles away. The scene starts out with the couple wandering the woods in the dark, Cristal skeptical that Blake knows the direction they are supposed to be headed in. They bicker as Blake questions his wife's belief in him, and to avoid another argument, Cristal agrees to keep going his way.
Cast[]
Cristal: You said it was just a couple of miles, but we've been walking twice that.
Blake: It's just up here to the right.
Cristal: Well, didn't you say it was south? Because the sun set that way, which means south is over there.
Blake: Are you Lewis or Clark? North, south... I have been on this trail before.
Cristal: Okay, Sacagawea.
Blake: You don't believe me?
Cristal: I believe we could be having sex right now.
Blake: On the jet or Musha Cay?
Cristal: Fine. I don't want to fight. We'll go your way.
"Company Slut"[]
Summary[]
After Fallon ends up on the cover of Atlanta Digest's Women of the Year edition, Cristal vents to Steven in her Carrington Atlantic office about her PR nightmare, claiming the office thinks she got the COO position because she's Blake's whore while the rest of the world thinks she's Matthew's. Steven provides Cristal with words of affirmations, to which Cristal states that of all the "amazing gifts" she has gotten from marrying Blake, Steven is her favorite. He adds that Fallon won't back down until she gets what she wants, something he admires about his sister and believes he is incapable of himself. He advises Cristal that it's good to have someone like Fallon on their side in life. "You know, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? Especially here."
Cast[]
Steven: Hi. I heard you're not the newest cover girl.
Cristal: Nope. Your sister wins again.
Steven: Are you okay?
Cristal: I was naive to think by owning up to my mistake this will all go away. I mean, I used to work in PR. I should know better.
Steven: Well, then you know it will go away. It's just gonna take some time.
Cristal: Everyone here thinks I got this job because I'm your father's whore. The rest of the world thinks I'm Matthew's. It's kind of hard to put any air between that.
Steven: Who cares what they think. You had the guts to own it. Most people spend their entire lives pretending to be someone they're not.
Cristal: You're right. I apologized for what I did. If these people can't forgive me, then that's their issue. Thank you. Of all the amazing gifts I've gotten from being married to your father, you are my favorite.
Steven: Plus, you can't return me.
Cristal: [chuckles]
Steven: My sister won't back down until she gets what she wants. It's one of the things I admire about her. I can't do it. I care too much about what people think of me.
Cristal: She should care a little more.
Steven: I've learned it's better to have someone like Fallon on your side in life. You know, keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? Especially here.
"I Exist Only for Me"[]
Summary[]
Blake and Cristal frantically arrive at Northend Memorial Hospital after the former hits Claudia Blaisdel with his car. Blake yells at an intern and demands to see a doctor as Cristal tries to deescalate him. They bicker over the situation until a nurse arrives, warning Blake that he will be removed if he does not calm down. Blake demands the nurse find Chief Resident Dr. Danzette, threatening to have her fired should she not listen. She prepares to call security, but Blake reveals who he is, along with the fact that he paid for half of the hospital. The nurse complies.

- Haley Flanagan as Nurse (uncredited)
[indistinct PA announcement]
Blake: I specifically told the paramedics to put her in a private room, not this Baghdad roadside triage.
Cristal: You should have let me ride with her in the ambulance. Blake, there she is. Claudia.
Blake: (to intern) What the hell are you doing?
Cristal: His job.
Blake: (to Cristal) Not well. (to intern) Who's seen her? She has a traumatic brain injury. She already had it, just to be clear.
Intern: Let me find a nurse for you.
Blake: Nurse? No, no. She has been hit by a car. We need a doctor, now!
Cristal: Blake! Calm down.
Blake: That's not how you get things done. And if you had stayed calm, we wouldn't be here in the first place.
Cristal: I went over there to talk to her, you're the one who ran her over.
Blake: Because I was rushing over there to prevent this wacko from doing something worse to you.
Nurse: Excuse me, but sir, you need to calm down or you will be removed.
Blake: I need you to find Chief Resident Dr. Danzette.
Nurse: Danzette hasn't set foot in the ER since Dion got turfed off.
Blake: Call him or I'll have you fired.
Nurse: They must not have unions where you're from. (speaking into a phone) Security.
Blake: And you must not know who I am. Blake Carrington. I paid for half this damn hospital, including the phone that you're on. So use it to call the chief.
"The Best Things in Life"[]
Summary[]
Blake lovingly embraces Cristal in the foyer of Carrington Manor, reminiscing on their morning endeavors and plans to start a family. He notes that their child will have it all, from his looks to Cristal's brains. Blake wishes to continue their morning together, but Cristal claims to have a morning meeting with a PR firm. When Blake questions if she can cancel, Cristal states that the meeting is time sensitive.
Cast[]
Blake: Hey. Mm...
Cristal: (giggles)
Blake: That was some way to wake up.
Cristal: Mm-hm.
Blake: I'm so happy we're trying to do this. With my looks and your brains, the kid's gonna have it all.
Cristal: (chuckles) Oh, honey, I have a morning meeting with a PR firm.
Blake: You sure you can't cancel it?
Cristal: It's time sensitive. (sighs)
"I Answer to No Man"[]
Exterior Warehouse
Fallon: Surely we can negotiate. I mean, you're a businessman, aren't you? You're well aware that I recently came into money of my own.
Alejandro: Your trust fund?
Fallon: A hundred million in assets.
Alejandro: I don't want assets. I want cash. Fifteen million. And I need it today. Even if I have to pull some teeth to get your father to engage.
"Promises You Can't Keep"[]
Steven: That's a hand towel.
Sam: I don't discriminate. Anyway, nothing you haven't seen before.
Steven: Yeah, but we're not dating anymore.
Sam: Cristal made me wear a robe around the manor, but I'm more a free-hanging kind of guy.
Steven: Well, your free-hanging is a little distracting.
Sam: Well, maybe you need a distraction. All we've done the last few weeks is... build Scandinavian furniture and... [sighs] eat with plastic forks. It's like a sweatshop. I came to stay with you to find myself, not to find poverty.
Steven: That's why I'm making a list of jobs I should apply for.
Sam: NGO? HR? SCSO? How about B-O-R-I-N-G? No, I'm taking the fun route. I've applied to be a mixologist at Miller Union, tennis coach at the Château Élan Country Club, and head buyer at several department stores.
Steven: Do you even play tennis?
Sam: I look really good in white.
Steven: I'm sure that's the only qualification you're gonna need.
Sam: You're taking this way too seriously. I mean, isn't this rich-kid-slumming-it experiment of yours gonna end soon anyway?
Steven: It's not an experiment, Sam. This is my life now. I'm not rich anymore. I gave it up for real.
Sam: By choice. You can always choose to move back to the manor.
Steven: No. Going home and tapping into my trust fund are not options for me. I'm here for the long haul, Sam. Whether you are or not.
"The Gospel According to Blake Carrington"[]
Fallon: (sighs) So, Ted Dinard.
Steven: Long story. And not a true one.
Fallon: Oh, good. I was wondering if I should be worried or not.
Steven: He is in a coma.
Fallon: Well, that's on him.
Steven: What's up with you?
Fallon: Uh, long story. True story.
Steven: Should I be worried?
Fallon: That's on me. Oh, and don't email me or text me. I'll explain later.
"Enter Alexis"[]
Alexis: I, uh... It's not what it looks like.
Cristal: I think it looks like you walked out of my husband's office and your bra strap fell down.
Alexis: Exactly. I just didn't want you to worry given my history with Blake. And well... women do peak sexually in their forties.
Cristal: Well, I have something to look forward to, then. You on the other hand, are ten years past your prime.
Alexis: Mm... maths's not your subject. Keep your studies up, when you grow up you can be anything you want.
Cristal: I really try to be nice to you. And I know you were here first, but I'm here now, and I've seen the collateral damage you've done. Blake can't trust anyone, Steven's afraid of putting down roots anywhere, and then there's Fallon who's incapable of letting anyone get close to her. So, no, Alexis, I'm not threatened by you. If anything, I am terrified of becoming you.
Alexis: I see. I, uh... Of course I see the damage I've done. And at this point my children know you better than they do me. As a mother... you have no idea how much that hurts. But thank you... for being here for them. Excuse me.
Cristal: Alexis, I didn't mean it. (sighs)
"Trashy Little Tramp"[]
"Dead Scratch"[]
Claudia: [whispering] They're on a break. Let's go. It's funny, if I'd had the kid, I wouldn't be the size of a whale.
Matthew: You look beautiful. What is that thing anyway?
Claudia: It's a macramé baby carrier. They say baby wearing is psychologically beneficial. They said the same about electroshock therapy. [groans]
(Claudia scans the key-card to unlock the building exit. She and Matthew make their way to a white van.)
Claudia: Okay. I'll hotwire it.
(Claudia looks inside the van and sees the keys sitting in the cupholder.)
Claudia: Nevermind. I told you the people here are idiots.
Matthew: Best care Carringtons can buy.
Claudia: No, no, no. Last time you drove you gave me a brain injury. But I still love you.
Matthew: Till death do us part.
Claudia: [laughs] Which reminds me... we have a wedding to get to. And I have a perfect gift.
Sam: Stu, my man. Okay, first, let's keep it locked up super tight tonight. Second, let's take Kirby Anders off the guest list.
Stu: Isn't that Joseph's daughter?
Sam: No, um... This girl might claim to be his daughter, but it's a prank, and well... You know what? Here.
(Sam hands Stu some cash.)
Stu: Copy that.
Sam: Mm.

- Rafael de la Fuente as Sam Jones
- Kelly Rutherford as Melissa Daniels
- Max Bickelhaup as Stu
Stu: Ma'am, you're making a scene.
Melissa: I'm telling you there's been some sort of mistake. Can you please check the list again? My name is on it.
Stu: Lady, I'm sorry. You're not on the list.
Melissa: Well, they obviously didn't teach you any decorum when you worked at the mall. Do you have any idea who I am?
Sam: Mrs. Daniels.
Melissa: Sam, thank goodness. This gentleman seems to think I'm some sort of riff-raff.
Sam: (to Stu) She's okay. (to Melissa) Sorry about the manhandling. It's not exactly our A team on security tonight. Let's get you some champagne.
Unreleased Scenes[]
Season 1[]
- In an alternate cut of Fallon and Cristal's catfight as shown in the initial trailer of Dynasty, Cristal originally attacks Fallon after her dress sleeve is first torn. While the same dialogue is used, the trailer depicts a more aggressive Fallon, whose hair is still partially in an updo, delivering the line, "Bite me, Cristal." In this cut, Cristal states, "Oh, please," before the iconic, "Call me mom." ("I Hardly Recognized You")[1]
- In one version of the pool fight between Fallon and Alexis originally shared to Nicollette Sheridan's Instagram story, Alexis calls Fallon a "wicked little brat" instead of a "spiteful little brat." ("Enter Alexis")
- When Kirby Anders is introduced via stand-in, Elizabeth Gillies (Fallon Carrington) recorded multiple takes delivering Kirby's first line of dialogue, "Hello, daddy." Ultimately, Gillies' voice was not used in the final cut. ("Dead Scratch")[2]
Season 2[]
![]() Kirby Anders meets Jeff Colby. ("Twenty-Three Skidoo") |
- As shown in promotional stills released for the episode, during the Gatsby-themed 100th anniversary celebration of Carrington Atlantic, Kirby Anders encounters Jeff Colby for the first time since they were children. Showrunner Sallie Patrick hoped for the scene to be included on the DVD for the second season; however, this did not happen. ("Twenty-Three Skidoo")
- Nicollette Sheridan released a photograph during the filming of a scene between Alexis and Blake, presumably the morning after having sex. Though unconfirmed, the scene was likely a clip during the montage at the end of the episode. ("Twenty-Three Skidoo")
![]() Blake Carrington and Cristal Jennings. ("The Butler Did It") |
![]() Sam Jones and Alexis Carrington. ("The Butler Did It") |
- As shown via promotional stills for the episode, there was a scene or two meant to take place where Blake, Cristal, Alexis, and Sam have breakfast outside on the Carrington Manor property. This scene was likely meant to serve as Cristal's introduction to both Alexis and Sam, as future interactions imply they are already acquainted. ("The Butler Did It")
- Nicollette Sheridan released images on her Instagram of Alexis at the Steven Carrington Foundation gala. One image shows Alexis conversing with Anders, and another image shows Alexis seemingly upset and writing something down. Neither moment is shown in the episode. ("A Champagne Mood")
Season 3[]
- According to Michael Michele, via Instagram Live, there was a full make-out session between Dominique and Rick, the prison security guard who records and leaks Blake's altercation with Michael; however, the scene didn't make it to air. ("Caution Never Won a War")
Missing Episodes[]
- According to Michael Michele, the original 21st episode of the third season included flashbacks to Blake Carrington and Dominique Deveraux as children.
Season 4[]
- In a scene that was never filmed, Alexis ran into Dominique's lawyer as he was leaving Carrington Manor which is how she determined that, due to Dominique and Brady Lloyd never finalizing their divorce, he would be entitled to half of her money. Writer Liz Sczudlo noted that there was a joke by writer Chava Friedberg about "Blake shopping for a new Cristal." ("Affairs of State and Affairs of the Heart")[3]
Season 5[]
- Due to time constraints, Kirby was cut from a scene in the original script of an episode in the fifth season.[4]
