Coby Ryan McLaughlin is a semi-recurring actor on The CW's Dynasty, portraying the role of Dawkins.

Biography

McLaughlin made his acting debut in 1999, in an episode of The X-Files. Later that year, he appeared in four episodes of Undressed in the role of Todd. In 2003, McLaughlin appeared in the television movie, Lost Treasure, starring Stephen Baldwin and Nicollette Sheridan (Alexis Carrington).

Throughout the 2000s, McLaughlin appeared in films and series, including, Bones (2006), Inseparable (2006), The Trouble with Romance (2007), Women's Murder Club (2007), Two and a Half Men (2008), Back to You (2008), and The Game (2008-2009).

In 2010, he appeared in the film You Again, where he was credited as "Coby McLaughlin." In 2011, he appeared in two episodes of The Glades, and in 2012, he appeared in three episodes of The Secret Life of an American Teenager. In 2013, McLaughlin appeared in the films, Hunt for the Labyrinth Killer, A Leading Man, and Teachers.

In 2014, McLaughlin landed recurring roles in both Graceland as Detective Archie Barrett and Parenthood as Chris Jeffries. He appeared in two episodes of Castle in 2015. McLaughlin appeared in Heritage Falls, Polaris, and The Engagement Clause in 2016.

In 2018, McLaughlin appeared in six episodes of The Young and the Restless as Andrew Lynford. He went on to appear in General Hospital from 2018 to 2019, featuring in a total of 98 episodes. In 2021, he landed the role of Dawkins in two episodes of the fourth season of The CW's Dynasty.
