Season 4[]
As Sam Jones practices long-distance dating with Ryan, he overwhelms his new boyfriend with constant gifts to the point of Ryan asking for Sam to stop. Sam misinterprets this request, however, and hires Brian Littrell to perform a few songs for their next video-call. In the midst of Brian performing Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way", Ryan makes up an excuse to end the call. Sam is devastated but insists that Brian keep playing, having paid for three songs.
