Go Catch Your Horse is the fourth episode of the fifth season, and ninetieth episode overall of the drama television series, Dynasty on The CW. It aired on March 18, 2022.

Synopsis[]

WHAT DREAMS MAY COME - Amanda and Alexis don't see eye-to-eye on Adam, and Amanda has reservations about Alexis' latest adventure. Liam finds himself in sticky situation with Culhane. Dominique presents Kirby with an opportunity, but Kirby is fearful. Meanwhile, Fallon jumps head-first into a new project and needs Sam's help. Rita needs to change course as her plan becomes thwarted by an unknowing Blake.

Plot Summary[]

Jeff settles in as head of Fallon Unlimited while Kirby becomes the muse for Dominique's next fashion line. Fallon rediscovers a love of horses when Sam mentors her into a joining an equestrian foundation to find personal fulfillment. Unfortunately, this brings out a competitive streak as she bids for a prize mare against frenemy Patty de Vilbis. Culhane's animosity with film director Nina nearly derails Liam's shot to adapt his novel for the screen. Cristal remains Beto's hostage as her lookalike Rita cons Blake to surrender the Flores empire. Amanda's distrust of Dex gives Alexis second thoughts on her impetuous romance with him. Fallon's recent dream of starting a family is met with ambiguity by Liam.^[1]

Trivia[]

The episode presents two new characters: Patricia de Vilbis and Daniel, a horse trainer.
- Patricia de Vilbis might be a genderbent to the character Peter de Vilbis on the original show, who liked horse races and was a love interest of Fallon in Season 4.
- As of Daniel, he might be a reference to the character of Daniel Reece, a horse trainer linked to Sammy Jo's past in the original show.
Fallon bid on a horse named Allegra, it was the name of Krystle's old horse Blake bought back from Daniel Reece in the original series.

Dominique: Okay, let's take this through once again. Strut, strut, strut, hit your mark, strike a pose, release the button, jacket falls into the dress, strike another pose, slay, delay, then walk away.

Dominique: It's time to pivot.
Kirby: Sure, pivot. What do you mean by pivot?

Patty: I'll totally get you tix when Leonara races. Just call me whenevs.
Fallon: Oh Patty. When I call you something it is gonna be so much worse than "whenevs".

Dex: Hey. Dex Dexter. I'm a friend of your mom's.
Adam: That's a great, great name.

Cristal: How do you think this will play out? Once I tell the truth, the courts will reverse the transfer.
Beto: Once I'm in Mexico, I'll be untouchable.
Rita: And I'll just be some hallucination your foggy mind conjured up. Do you really think anyone is gonna believe your double delusion? Especially after that brain tumor.

Rita: I find it poetic that Blake's love for his wife is the reason he's so easy to fool. His loyalty is hot. I'm really growing fond of the Carrington lifestyle and Blake.
Cristal: Enjoy it while you can. Because it won't last. You won't get away with this.
Rita: I don't want to get away. That's the point. Who wants to disappear with a paycheck from Beto when I could live like a queen in Atlanta? All I need to do is erase you.
